Erectile Dysfunction cure without medical intervention
Erectile dysfunction is typically a combination of hormonal imbalance and psychological issues that stress the vascular system or prohibit it from functioning the way it should. Hormonal changes that occur with age and low levels of male hormones and low self-esteem are often what cause male sexual dysfunction. There are several non-chemical treatments which treat erectile dysfunction, but the initial step in curing this dysfunction is to see a doctor and be as upfront and honest about the problem as possible. There has been a direct correlation between erectile dysfunction and cardiovascular disease, which means any sexual activity can actually be dangerous for certain men without their knowledge of having the disease. The danger that lies in treating a sexual dysfunction without knowing whether cardiovascular disease exists is an issue which must be determined in advance.
Lifestyle changes are one of the first areas that must be evaluated when determining if erectile dysfunction is present. The United States has the highest statistics regarding weight and lack of physical exercise. Any type of exercise, whether it's anaerobic or aerobic, coupled with a healthy diet is a key in helping to prevent erectile dysfunction. Certain medications can also contribute to erectile dysfunction causing drug induced sexual dysfunction. Several anti-depressant medications available today are the most common cause of impotence. This cause of impotence is not just limited to legal prescription drugs, but also due to nicotine, alcohol, heroin, & cocaine which all negatively impact the male sexual libido after extended use.
Quitting smoking is one of the first areas to consider helping cure erectile dysfunction. A chemical in our bodies, nitric oxide, helps blood flow into the penis which allows an erection. With low levels of this chemical present, it is often difficult to get and maintain an erection. Smokers have lower levels of this chemical than non-smokers so for a non-medical treatment, quitting smoking is a good place to start. Psychological factors are typically the most important and prevalent factor in male sexual dysfunction. If a man experiences one or more failures to perform, it is not unusual for psychological issues to appear that may prevent a man from being able to get an erection again. This is called psychological impotence and if a man become accustomed to sexual failure, it can be impossible to change. Visiting with a sex therapist when this occurs is the best bet on helping to cure the issue.
There are two diagnostic tests available to determine the cause of erectile dysfunction, one called a Biothesiometry study and the other called a Doppler ultrasound. The Biothesiometry study help to assess the nervous system to the penis and the Doppler ultrasound assesses the blood supply to the penis. Both of these treatments are pain free and non-invasive steps that allow the physician to provide an explanation of the cause and extent of the erectile dysfunction and to help determine what treatment options would be best suited to each individual patient. Once the diagnosis has been completed, a treatment plan personalized for the patient can be offered so treatment may begin immediately. This treatment is safe and effective and may even cure the issue.
