Cosmetic Procedures to Get You Ready for Your Bikini Debut

Hands down, the best way to get a bikini bound figure is following a healthy diet and exercise program. However, all weight loss efforts are not 100% perfect so you might be left with some toning issues in a few trouble spots. Bits of liposuction here and there or even a bit of a tummy tuck or breast lift just might be the ticket to a hotter bikini body. What is so great is there are a number of cosmetic procedures available that can have you looking your best for your beach attire. Whether it is the arms, breasts, buttocks, stomach or some other body part, you have options.

Liposuction possibilities

If your body is close to being bikini ready and you just have a few spots here and there with pockets of fat, a special procedure called vaser liposuction might be your best option. This version of liposuction uses ultrasound waves to break up the fatty deposits before the surgeon uses a suction device to vacuum the fat out. There is little downtime and bruising and swelling is minimal.

Vaser liposuction can get rid of fatty deposits around the waistline, hips, thighs and more. This procedure is sometimes combined with other procedures such as abdominal etching and tummy tucks to create a body you can flaunt in a swimsuit. The abdominal etching involves the removal of fat deposits that have accumulated in between the muscle indentations (pretend you have six pack abs).

Who knew that the arms could also stand to have some liposuction attention? If you want defined arms you can flaunt in a swimsuit or even a sleeveless shirt, liposuction can be done to remove unwanted fat from under the arm, where it accumulates the most. You would be down for about ten days but bruising is almost non-existent. If you have had extreme weight loss and have sagging skin, an arm lift might be necessary.

Breasts are in

Natural, high breasts are what is in season when it comes to donning a bikini. If you are rather flat in the breast department, breast implants may be your best option. The implants come in a variety of sizes. If you have a bit too much breast for a bra to handle, breast reduction is available as well. Breasts that are the right size and shape could just need a little bit of a lift if sagging is starting to become a problem. Recovery times differ depending on the breast work done.

The lower half

Shake your derriere and shimmy your way into that bikini. You have the choice of buttocks implants to create an aesthetically pleasing shape or fat injections. Fat injections are all the rage as it uses fat collected from other parts of your body so some other area is getting into shape at the same time. Plus, using your own fat means that your body will not reject it.

Laser hair removal helps to clean up the bikini line but you would have to start the process at least six months in advance as you would need at the most six sessions, one a month, to zap the hair at the roots. Also, starting so far ahead is important as the skin is more sensitive and prone to sunburn in the summer whereas is would be protected undercover in the off-summer months.

All in all, there are a number of procedures that could get you ready to make your bikini debut. Identify your trouble areas and get started on the cosmetic surgery process several months in advance so you can be that first person to hit the beach in a bikini that season.
