5 Things You Must Know About Natural Accupuncture
1) What is acupuncture?
Made in China, this an art of healing via needles. The healing process is generally initiated by insertion of needles in body parts. The basic philosophy about this theory is that bodily functions are guided by a the flow of an energy called qi. The theory aims at correction of the levels qi in the body the imbalances of which bring diseases in the body. This is achieved by controlling such imbalances by stimulating of special points on the body which according to this theory are also referred to as acupuncture points.
2) The common myth
The common belief about acupuncture is that it is a painful experience. But in reality an acupuncture expert never thinks of you as a pin cushion. The maximum inserted needles may vary from two to ten but that has to be to make you more relaxed and lie in your comfort zone. Another common belief about acupuncture is that it heals muscular pains in body. But the expert practitioners claim much more than this. Researchers have shown that acupuncture can cure infertility, pains during menstrual cycles, immunity disorders and acute medical conditions like asthma.
3) How does it work?
The world is all about energy. These energies of body have been measured by a lot of means and in the modern world some form of these energies are measured by techniques like the ECG and EEG. The theory of acupuncture is based on stimulating these energies of the body and converging them into a healing process. According to stated theories acupuncture diverts these energy fields and thus creates the desired change in bodily functions which leads towards a healing process.
To achieve this tiny needles which are about the size of a strand of hair are inserted in the desired healing location with a precise location of points. The accuracy of position is very important according to the theory of acupuncture. The theory states that these points are actually the convergence of various energy fields of the body. The further advancement of this theory states that each organ has its own impact on such energy fields and these can be stimulated and transformed into soothing and healing effects.
4) An added bonanza of no side effects:
The only side effects in this therapy are the bruises caused by the needles. Otherwise like all the debated theories in the world it is safe and causes no other harm to the body or to any of its functions. In addition to it like all other modern medical therapies it does not cause the common side effects like loss in libido, nausea and loss in normal thinking process. The aforesaid mentioned facts are regarding cure of complex situations like cancer which have reported cases of cure by this therapy.
5) A debatable topic:
In spite of the above mentioned facts the cure from this therapy is still a matter of debate and research by medical experts. But we all know the healing effect of needles when experiencing a severe pain so there is no harm in trying it.
